Programs

Sherwood Center’s mission is to empower children and adults with autism and related developmental disabilities to maximize their potential in family and community life. While autism remains an important area of expertise and focus, the agency serves children and adults of all ages with a wide range of needs and abilities.  Currently, 44 students participate in the Special Education program, 18 in Adult Day program and approximately 30 families in the Family Support program.

 The ultimate purpose of all programs and services Sherwood Center provides is to achieve the goals of each individual. For children and adolescents, goals are outlined in an Individual Education Plan and for adults in a Person Centered Plan.
